Hotspot performance - moonlight

Ok. I own one of the rog laptops that allows you to stream games to your device. I am currently running pacrom b3. Now. How I host for streaming is by letting the laptop connect to my hotspot and then go from there. The signal output is flaky. Just like a grands biscuit. Is there any way to increase the power output of the hotspot to have a stronger signal for streaming in this sort of fashion?

I could be wrong (anyone plz correct me if I am..) but I believe that WILL cause your device to seriously overheat as regular hotspot use would cause the device to run pretty darn hot all in its own [emoji28]

Do you not have a router you could use? Even the the most basic one would be much better suited to this task, even if it isn't connected to the internet itself. Not only do you eliminate signal problems, but you will decrease the load on your phone significantly and so would consume a bit less battery. If your phone's processor was struggling with running a hotspot + streaming, which I imagine would be difficult to distinguish from a poor signal, this would also elevate some of the strain.

Yeah. It actually doesn't run hot at all. It gets hot while downloading over lte. But not when hosting media over lan using a hotspot method. Don't ask me why. I came to the conclusion it is the pacrom sadly however. It just needs a couple of tweaks done to it. Which I plan on goofing around with later today. Just wanna get ghetto shield up and running for my kids mainly.
