Hi everyone!
I am having a problem in that my phone works (can make/receive calls, send/receive texts, access the internet, etc), however, I just cannot seem to get the Wireless Hotspot feature to work on the Fido network. This is a new phone (I had a Motorola Milestone, which I upgraded with a Motorola XT860, aka the Milestone 3, that has been unlocked from Bell). The hotspot feature worked flawlessly with the old phone, which is why I'm kind of confused.
What happens is that I am able to create the hotspot, and my computers are able to connect to it and obtain a legit IP address, but they are unable to actually send/receive any data through the connection! I'm totally baffled.
Have any of you got the hotspot feature to work (especially on Fido)? What configurations did you set?
Any advice or tips about what to look into would be extremely appreciated!
