Hotspot statistics

[ervion]

When I am sharing my 3g to friends via wifi hotspot I'd like to see a bit more statistics about my hotspot usage: how many people are connected, how much data is used, who uses how much, etc.

Technically it should be possible, but has anyone found an app implementing any of these features?

WiFi Tether by Muller, et al (free and root-only) displays the upstream & downstream data totals on the main screen. It can also show a list of Hotspot-connected users. I'm not sure if it works with your phone model. It works well on my LG Optimus S.
