HotSpot Tethering

Friends,
Traded my Moto G 3rd Gen for the 5 Plus (Amazon edition). I used Straight Talk on both. The hot spot tethering worked out of the box with the 3rd Gen but now is not operable with the 5 Plus w/o contacting carrier. Others experience this?

I have a G5 Plus on Verizon prepaid and the hotspot worked without issue.

Hmm, makes me wonder if it has to do with the ATT / ST network

I think it's tied to your plan no matter what carrier you use. Verizon prepaid includes the hotspot feature.
