How are Sony Tablets, Compared to ASUS, Samsung, Acer, etc?

Are we talking about the older Sony Tablet S? Or the new version announced? If we're talking about the older tablet, no it doesn't compare. The ones from Samsung and ASUS are better, and maybe Acer. However Acer's target is the lower end of the market it seems, and they produce bang for buck devices. Decent and well spec'd but not ones that will make you giddy with excitement.
ASUS is currently top dog in tablet making for Android, and the new ASUS Infinity is one hell of a machine in terms of performance. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the best Samsung offers, and while it has a useful novelty and performance able to keep up with ASUS, the ASUS devices have a better display.
