Help How can I change my stock status bar?

My HTC ONE V(Virgin Mobile) is rooted on the stock ROM. I want the regular Ice Cream Sand-which or the I-Phone status bar, but I don't want to have to flash a ROM or use a status bar app (since they are always very buggy). So is there a way to change my status bar by using Root Explore to replace the status bar file?
