How can i create playlists on my microSD?

Hello! I just bought a SanDisk Android Ultra microSDXC 64GB UHS-1 card, and I wanted to transfer all my music to the SD-card. The problem is that whenever I take out the card again, all my playlists disappears. I am using Google Play Music. Before I got the microSD-card, I had all my music on the internal storage of my phone. On Google Play Music, I created a lot of playlists where I sorted the music. But when I transferred the files to the microSD, and also deleted the music from the internal storage, all the playlists disappeared. Even though the songs was still there.

Is there any way I can make playlists on the microSD? Like, when I put it back in the phone, the playlists will automatically be there? If not, I will have to create new playlists every time I take out the microSD.

ok if I am understanding you correctly you are keeping your music on the SDCARD and when you switch to the external it deleted the play list. the reason for this is that the paths were no longer valid. Playlist use paths to determine where a song is this way you can add one song from this folder of this band and another song from that folder of that band. When you moved the music the playlist pointed to invalid paths and there for were probably deleted. I have all my music store on Google Play Music and have my play list point to those songs on the google server. If you are only using music from your SDCARD then maybe another music player would be better.

Just keep in mind that no matter what Player if the songs are moved most playlist will then be invalid.

Hi
I have a band new Note 3. Just went through 2 frustrating weeks of syncing my music to my brand new Samsung EVO 64GB class 10 SDcard.
Things got deleted at each new sync. Music disappeared, playlists disappeared etc.
re-sync over and over.
Reformat card yet again.
Video wouldn't save properly, pictures showed up as gray squares.
And all this with their very own Samsung EVO card.
Searched forums endlessly to find similar users.
In the end, I removed the card, used the internal storage and tried not to think of how such an advanced device wasnt able to use technology it has been designed for....
Yes the 4.4.2 update changes permissions on where an app can write in the SD card, but the music was directed at the proper folder.
Sucks, I know, but the upside is I have a flawlessly working camera as well as Itunes library and playlists.
