How can I do a hardware reset on my X10 pro?

I've searched and searched and haven't found an answer :(

How do I reset my X10 Mini pro????

One answer I found:

"You can always do a full reset of your phone by going to - settings >SD card & USB mass storage...>Factory Data Reset!!"

When I go to "SD card..." there are no options to reset??

Where am I going wrong?

OK... so I know you reset by doing a software reinstall... I don't really want to install onto my PC - unless I absolutely HAVE to!

Is there no way of just reseting on the phone itself??

Somewhere else I read: you press bottom right and left keys and then press the power - erm... not working for me :(

Thanks

You can do a hard reset by pressing the power button and home key (which is the same as removing the battery) or you can do a software reset / factory reset by Settings>Privacy Settings and then Factory Data Reset. This is if you are on 2.1 as I suspect you are, because the other version 1.6 had the factory reset in the SD card storage section of the Settings menu.

I have one question too: is this hard reset also removes rooting? In case of phone someday will get broken and I would need warranty
