How can I downgrade my software!!! Help please

Hi everyone,

I downloaded the new software update through my handest and since then my phone has gone slower, less reliable and the battery has decreased by about five hours a day. Does anyone know how I can downgrade the software? I went into vodafone and they said its a known problem and samsung are working on it and to downfgrade using kies but i didnt have the option to?

I don't know who told you to downgrade via Kies, but its not possible. What you can try to do with Kies is a firmware repair/recovery. Its in the tools section.

If that doesn't work, your option would be hard reset the phone for a complete wipe then reattempt a firmware repair on the clean device. You can backup most of your phone's settings via Kies, or root it and make a titanium or MBP backup, or better yet a Nandroid backup, before resetting.

If that still doesn't work your option would be to manually download the firmware for your phone from Sammobile.com/firmware and manually install it (you need to be rooted for this).

Take note that rooting will void your warranty.
