How can I focus on finding games that are best in Landscape?

I bought my mother a tablet just for use at home, and she likes games, puzzle/connect 3 etc, and I've made her a carry stand so the tablet's permanently on it's side for netflix etc. But so many games either won't go to landscape mode or are squished in it. I understand most games are made for phones, but how can I somehow focus on games that are ideal for landscape?

there is not really away to search for games like that in the play store. the only way is to do your research either thru your browser on the tablet or on your pc.
