Root how can i make 100% sure i rooted?

is there a way to check? when i got done installing the .bat file, it stayed on the fastboot screen and did nothing..how can i make sure it is fully rooted before i do any damage?

i don't think the padlock on boot screen mean it is rooted; all that means is that the bootloader is unlocked

i think in order to be rooted, you'd need to install the custom recovery image or himen with superboot

Open ASTRO, look into system folder. If there are things there you are done.

If not, your not rooted.

Try and download nexus one torch from the market. If it works then ur good
