how can i read e-books

[jertzee]

I have just got an S5570 and want to download some e-books but not sure which app I should use?

I cant find anything on the phone that will read an e-book and wonder what is the best app.

Also, looking at downloading some and I am being offered many different file types or app types and have no idea which one I should be using assume none until I have an app?).

Any help welcome thanks

If you want to read .epub files/ebooks then Aldiko premium is the best. It also has a store where you can buy books and probably get some for free from public domains.

Also, Moon reader pro is another good e-reader which supports e-pub files. Use AMazon Kindle to read .mobi files.

You can use Quick Office to read pdf files. Cool Reader is another simple ebook reader that supports many formats.

I like free version of EbookDroid. If you read e book which are actually scanned version of paper book then you must use it. It remembers your page no. and zoomed position. But if you read .epub or 'real' pdf the Aldiko is best. Its shelf view is very nice.
