Help How can I run Live (Audio/Video) Streaming App in background ??? Plzzzz HELP . . . .

Hi Guys !!
I am using an App of a News Channel i.e. "TimesNow" ( the very 1st App in search result in Google Play) on my samsung S4 . It streams Live Audio of the TV programmes of the channel. But while listening to the audio stream , the moment I press the 'HOME' button or switch to any other App, the Live Streaming stops. So effectively . . this crap bull**** App seems to have been designed for any 20th century mobile device that doesn't support multitasking. This is so irritating , not being able to do anything else while listening to the Audio stream. I wanted it to keep running in the background while I check my mails or chat on whatsapp. Can someone please help me ????????????? Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz guys :( :(

Well, you have not given us much to work on.
What Device?
What Android version?
What App?

I have many android devices that play audio in the background using Android 4..0.4, 4.3 and 4.42.
I use many different players.
I don't think it is the tablet's problem.

Hey @glc . . . Thanks for responding !

Device - Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 ( although i mentioned S4 above but now experimenting with Grand 2 )
Android version - 4.4.2
App - "TimesNow"
This is the link to it -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.timesnowmobile.TimesNow&hl=en

Let me elucidate and make the picture clear. It isn't that the device can't play Live Streaming Audio/Video. It does. At least I am sure of Audio, as I use an internet radio App "TuneIn" and this App, for example, plays BBC live audio news pretty well in the background. So of course it isn't a device specific issue, rather its probably how the "TimesNow" App has been intentionally designed, so as to force the user to keep it on the foreground to listen to the Live Streaming Audio. Now as @mikedt said I mailed them regarding this but got no fruitful response which is expected as they ain't gonna develop another version of the App for 1 in a million user like me OR perhaps ITS A LIMITATION.
So basically I wish you tech-savvy people could find a workaround for me. It would be great if could download the same App that I am facing the issue in (TimesNow). I am not as tech-savvy as you people but few ideas - maybe you could run this app within another App that can trick this app as if its running in foreground.
I would request you to go to these links once.

I couldn't make much out of it but I believe you people can. Please let me know if I still couldn't make the picture clear. Expecting your help . . . !

If you are using a video player to play audio, it makes sense that it stops when it looses the screen.
When I am playing a video, and I hit the home button on my Android 4.3, the audio stops when thescreen switches.
When I hit the history button and select the player from the running list, the video
displays. When I hit the start button, it continues from the point of interruption.

I am not aware of any video player that continues without display focus.

hey @glc . . Its not a video player. Although the App has collection of videos that one can watch but the functionality of the App that streams Live Audio, plays no video at all. It a static screen with a single button for play/pause and a background image. You can find the image of it attached here. I mean its much like a normal Internet Radio App which of course doesn't stop playing Live Audio when put to background.
