When i click on a MP3 link, it always pops up the media player.

Can I make it so i download the MP3 to my SD card?

I think any mp3 link will work..

e.g.

Gareth Jones On Speed The Podcast For Petrolheads 86

..then click on click here to listen to show #86 <---- or click here, I guess..

Using the built-in browser, which just launches the media player.

I dont think you can save the mp3 directly with the default browser. You can save the link...

But you can save the mp3 to your sd card by using App "Steel" browser ..

Once you have the page loaded ... then long-press on the "play" and select "save" ... this will allow you to save it.

I tested it with your link to make sure it work on that specific link ...

there's an app called "Download Crutch" that lets you download things that you normally might not be able to download. I would install that app, and then long press on the link, see if you get the option to "Save target as" or "download" or "save link as".

Long press the link - it'll pop a menu, including "Save As".

Skyfire is a great browser.

Only hassle with SaveAs is it'll go into a default download folder on the SD card. You then need a file manager to move it somewhere else (I'm using ES File Explorer).
