how can i see hidden files on my android

My phone won't let me delete files because it says they are hidden files. how can i view them

A lot of times this requires your phone to be rooted. Although you can try an app like Astro file manager, there is an option in that app to show hidden files, but again you may need to be rooted for that option to work.
