Help How can I tell if i have a battery problem

I have a bionic with the standard battery, and it seems to drain fast. I have brightness at half, force it to just 3g. I'm only using it for some emails, couple calls and some texting, but it seems to drain fast. Not sure if this is normal.

i read other saying they had to return their phone because of problem like this.

Just not sure how to tell if there is a real problem, of this phone just eats the battery like crazy.

Thanks for any info.

can you give us an example of how many hours it tends to last? Also do you have any task killers running? If so get rid of them.

I know if i charge it to 100% and maybe check some emails, and that it, it will drian to 80-90% with in an hour.

Now I do have a app for killing tasks, but I do not have it set on a schedule...should I.

I also leave the sms app and email app running all the time on it.

first step get rid of the app killer it is not needed.

secondly a better stat would be when the phone is about to die go to your battery stats and tell us how many hours its been off the charger.

so I have 15% left and my phone's battery stats read:

8h 40m

cell standby 41%
phone idle 34%
voice calls 10%
display 10%
andorid os 4%
dolphin browser 2%
touchdown email 2%

does this help

I have had my bionic for a week. I was barely getting 10 hours on the standard battery without doing anything on the phone. No phone calls, no e-mail, no web, no facebook, no nothing. Verizon exchanged the battery for me and today was my first day with the new battery. I made a few calls, downloaded some apps, checked my e-mail throughout the day, was on the web and did some random playing with it. I would consider it moderate use. I'm still at 30% and it has been 16 hours. I picked up an extended battery yesterday but if this performance keeps up, I may return it.
