The power button on my Droid 4 hasn't been working for quite sometime now. It didn't bug me because I could slide the keyboard to turn the screen on and I downloaded an app to turn if off. To make a long story short, the phone died and now I cant turn it back on. I took it to a Verizon store and they said to go to a cell phone repair store. that store told me I had to send it to Motorola to get it fixed. I just need a way to turn it on without using the power button!

Did you (ever) try holding the power button and volume down keys together for about 10 seconds? My D4's power button stopped working and doing that "battery pull" fixed it, had no issues after.
Of course that may not help if the phone is really dead...
