Help how can we do anything without flash player

My daughter had a Kindle hd. We can't download flashplayer as you know. She can't access most of her games and any learning programme such as bitesize etc I have downloaded the dolphin browser no difference. My question is what are we supposed to use now? I've tried various recommendations with no joy. I just want her to be able to do her learning. Not just play silly games instead. Any help appreciated. Bare in mind I'm not overly technical! Thankyou

Oh? I didn't. Have you tried Flash Player 2.x/3.x or Flash Player 4.x (depending on your version of Android)?

I have downloaded the dolphin browser

You may have to experiment between setting it to Flash on demand or Flash always.

They (the flash players) install like any other app. If you can install an app, you can install Flash.

The Kindle doesn't allow the installation of Flash so the recommendation above unfortunately won't work. You will have to root the device which becomes a little technical, still very easy to do though, just download the files and then do a manual update, done. I did it to my Kindle 8.9 HDX and it is now the best tablet I have ever owned, not to mention still one of the fastest you can buy today. Besides, haven't you heard, Apple told us that Flash was obsolete and would be a thing of the past by 2010, what a bunch of maroons(yes I no how to spell morons).

Oh one more thing, if you want to get extra dad points I would grab this and then one of these and defiantly don't forget to add that to the cart. Combined will turn your Kindle into a gaming, multimedia, surfing couch machine for your TV. My twin boys and I Love it, not to mention their mother who likes to watch YouTube cat videos on 55" display.

The HDX is different unfortunately, though technically yes you can side load the Flash APK none of the browsers that support Flash will recognize it. The easy fix is to just root the device using the simple to install HDX Utility found over at XDA which includes things like Flash, Google Play, etc. It will also remove the Amazon adds on the Lock Screen and will allow for a custom wallpaper, so it's worth doing just for that.
