Help How can you delete calendar events?

I have a samsung galaxy 4.0 player, and I want to know how to delete calendar events. I just typed them in there. They weren't synced from anywhere.

Click on the event then click the menu key on the player and select delete.

Sorry for sounding stupid, but what exactly is the "menu key"????

Menu key is the key on the player to the left of the home key(the one shaped like a house)
