how dangerous is rooting

i have had all nightmares trying to root and upgrade
partly because i dont follow stuff to easy
but i pop my battry out when things got messy or stuck
many fails on odin with kernals
looking for answers everywhere and panikin ha
its right
but i havnt brickd it and im a donut
so how does it brick?

Allegedly very difficult. Basically anything that disrupts your phone whilst changing system files might do it. One guy on here reported it happened after accidentally pulling out usb whilst flashing. Just bad luck. Unlikel, but the very small risk is there . If you're risk adverse don't do it. But so many android used do root without issue.

i dont think its dangerous at all, rooting the SGS2. like Sydney99 mentioned, this phone is very hard to brick if ur careful. another guy also reported that he bricked his phone coz his computer crashed in the middle of rooting (or flashing updates) which is really bad luck.
