Help How do I backup all my protected apps? (Aside from using Titaniam)

I am rooted and want to back up all my apps + all my data. Does anyone know how I can do this? I tried titanium but I am having trouble getting my apps to show up on the list...

You can use the recovery backup features for data and system files.

Protected apps are in a different folder. I think the folder is called app-protected

Could you walk me through step by step how to do that? (If you don't mind)

I did do a backup of my system and data in recovery mode but the file in my sd card is 0kb. I have no idea if my back up of those worked or not. It did say complete after I did it.

But still I need help, and thanks for any...
