How do I change default SMS app on Honor 8

I can't seem to figure out a way to change the default SMS app for my Honor 8.

I am assuming you can do that but I have not figured out how.

Does anyone know how?

After installing and opening up a new texting app it should ask if you want that to be your default.

Or go to Settings - More and tap the SMS option to change (assuming Huawei didn't change/remove that option).

Also, if you install another app, then open it up, it should notify you that this is not the default app and ask you if you want to switch it. Make sure to turn off notifications for the old app, or you'll get double.
