How do I change keyboard input method?

[rcyphermd]

I have used slide- it on my HTC phone. When I tried to use it on the S3, I am not given an option to change input methods when I press on the box to type. Suggestions?

when the keyboard is up hold that gear and it will pop up with a few choices

on the NOTIFICATION BAR, a keyboard looking icon will appear whenever you popup the keyboard.

then just pull it down and you can switch as needed. i know the old LONG PRESS is so much more convenient...
