I'm using the DigitalKarma v5 ROM (4.67, Sense 1.0) and the lock screen isn't as aesthetically pleasing to me, lol. How can I change the lock screen to the original lock screen for Sense 1.0 ROMs? I know there is a way to change the battery icon but I completely forgot but is there away to change the 1X/3G icon, WiFi icon, download icon, and other icons in the notification bar? Thanks for the help!!
The Lockscreen takes a little fenangling, probably just easier to get widget locker from the market.
Now changing the notification icons isn't that bad. You can do that pretty easy.
Best way is to open the rom you want to MOD with a program called 7zip. Look it up on the googles, it's free.
Navigate to: System / Framework / Framework-res.apk / res
Drag and drop the res folder on your desktop or MOD folder of your choice.
Open the res folder (not in 7zip) and go here: res / drawable-hdpi
In here you will find almost endless .png files to which your phone references when displaying things. Even apps from the market reference these files, thats why it's called "framework". Your notification bar images are found in here.
Replace the .pngs with the new ones of your choice.
BEWARE!! Make sure the new file is exactly the same canvas size (pixels wide X pixels tall) as the original, and has the exact same file name, or else the images will not load, or you'll have an epic fail on your hands. If this happens, just nandroid and try again.
