How Do I completely wipe a Phone?

I know if you factory reset everything is deleted, but your pictures and other types of data are still there according to (I forgot my source) i think it was avast who did an investigation with ebay phones and well that data and pics was still there.

I was wondering on how to delete this data....

You can always try a hard reset and also make sure there isn't a SD card in it.

Encrypt it then do a factory reset. Anything left will be encrypted so should be safe.

Depends on the phone - many include the option on the factory data reset screen to wipe the sd card also - that's typically the part that people miss.
