Apps how do I create an image for drawable folder in my game

hello, how do I create an image for drawable in my game? I use photoshop for creating my image for my game. when I design my image in photoshop and cutting it for only being seen and not with another view , I save it with "save for web" and using jpeg format. but when I see it with "windows photo viewer", I see my image inside of a white rectangular. so it makes a big problem for me.
for example suppose, we have a ball and when it moves from goal line, we get one score. now, if my picture ball is not as lonely and separate and if it is inside of the white rectangular, so first, with passing the white rectangular from goal line, we get one score!!! and not passing the ball only.

JPEG format doesn't support transparency. Try PNG format instead.

Also, try changing the dimensions of the canvas so they match the widest parts of the image.
