How do I disable headphone jack press....

Last night I had a bit of fun playing with Solo (Guitar app) and jammed with someone playing a real guitar. When I plugged my phone into a stereo player (sounds awesome going through an amp) using a 3.5 jack to 3.5 jack the stock music player started playing when I pressed the jack in.

Now with my doggcather app I can disable the launch of this app when headphone jack is pressed in.

With the stock music player there is no such toggle. So I searched in Settings to see what I can find and I could see nothing there to stop the stock music player from launching.

I searched on the market for an app and found things like Headset locker or Auto play killer...but these seem to also affect the bluetooth headset controls to the extent that my BT Headset will not pick up calls etc.

In a quandry on what to do as I simply want to disable launching the stock music app when pressing a jack in....

any suggestions appreciated
