How do I disable screen shifting?

When the virtual keyboard pops up, the entire display shifts a little bit up. When I finish using the keyboard, the screen doesn't shift back down, leaving the top bit inaccessible. How do I stop the screen from shifting when the keyboard is present?

Mine don’t do that, but if it did, I’d try a different, third-party keyboard, just to see if it did that too.

I've tried three different keyboards. Same problem. This started happening after I upgraded to ICS. I am using a Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. Carrier is AT&T.
