I have an Lg Volt running Android 5.1.1. and a pair of Sol Republic headphones. The microphone doubles as a play button. I have found the play button to be overly sensitive I am frequently pushing it by accident when running, tying my shoes, going up steps, etc. Is there a way I can disable the infernal thing? Also I have separate players for videos and music and I never know which is going to open when the play button is pressed (Unsure if that helps).
Someone told me to disable the notifications for the players but all that does is when the button is pressed you have NO PLAYBACK CONTROLS SHOWN.
F.Y.I. I have tried wizdroid, soundabout, and some other programs whose names escape me and none work. Also the program titled Headset Blocker cannot be installed due to it not being compatible with my phone.
