It's super annoying...I've been looking for it in the settings, but I can't find anything.

Pretty sure this is what he is referring to, the little "connect" confirmation thre tone burst jingle after pressing Send when the call is accepted by the carrier... It is a function built into the dialer app of the phone, no way to turn it off without going to a custom ROM. I have hunted and hunted for a setting in the device or app and cannot find one.Maybe that three tone jingle before the dialing sound?
That is correct.Maybe that three tone jingle before the dialing sound?
I tried a couple different Dialer apps and the jingle played with all of them unfortunately.Pretty sure this is what he is referring to, the little "connect" confirmation thre tone burst jingle after pressing Send when the call is accepted by the carrier... There are custom dialer/contact apps in the Play Store, using one of those -MAY-get rid of the tone, but I can't guarantee it.
Sorry, I was away from a computer for a few days, sorry about keeping everyone hanging. There are custom dialer/contact apps in the Play Store, using one of those -MAY-get rid of the tone, but I can't guarantee it.
I suspect you might be able to change the U.I., and even get a different method of searching or completing numbers for the contacts you've called, or have called you, but the jingle is still going to be there.
Hopefully the OP will try it and let us know.
That's what I was thinking as well. I'm sure I'll want to go to a custom Rom in the future, but for now the phone does what I need it to do, so I'll live with the tone. Thanks for the responses!I know when I was on CarbonROM and Beanstalk, there was no tone... Pretty drastic step to take for just that though.
