Help How do I download mp3's onto the Evo 4G?

For whatever reason, I can't find a way to download mp3 songs from my computer onto my phone.

I had no trouble downloading songs from my desktop onto my Samsung Galaxy S2 when I had it.

I've tried using my USB cord and I'm not finding a way to send the mp3 files to my device.

When you plug your phone in, and select "mount as usb" (on the phone), can you just drag the mp3 from your computer to your sd card?

I have no SD card at this time. Could this a factor? I've never used an SD card before and never needed one, even on my SGS II.

Maybe the phone is outdated, could that be the reason? I'm currently downloading a sync program from HTC's website. This is becoming more of a chore than entertainment.

This isn't even working. I've been trying to sync this for the past 20 minutes. It doesn't take this long to download 15 songs.

I should just sell this for $200 and be done with it. lol

Apparently, all the songs downloaded without any notification whatsoever. I spent 20 minutes waiting for nothing. lol All I had to do was check my phone.
