How do I edit the APN on LS775?

I got the phone unlocked for $20USD and different SIMs calls/txts work fine.

But I cannot edit the APN.

Do I need to wait for root or is there a method?

Lets hope a solution comes soon. Otherwise I'm just gonna sell it as an incapable of 2g/3g/4g data phone.

Yes because it making the phone look useless. I can't use a phone without mobile data

I suspect the APN is hard coded for Boost. So root would definitely be required for whatever needs doing to change it, or possibly a change of ROM would be required to a generic non-carrier version. I don't have this device and I'm not in the US, so can't be any more help.

But I have been trying forever to root the stylo 2 an all I am getting is a fail but if I actually get to root it I can unlock the APN settings
