Help How do I erase previous searches from the search bar?

I've tried everything and it's driving me nuts. I'm on a second gmail account until I can figure out what to do. I don't want anything from my desktop showing up on my tablet, except for email and market purchases.

I've cleared privacy, erased history, canceled sync, etc. Still getting older searches that I have to delete 1 by 1.

Which browser are you using? Sounds like you have some kind of Chrome syncing going on between your desktop and your tablet.

On further research I notice that the Google search on ur phones has a link to Google Now. That could be causing the PC to Phone syncing. Under Settings in Google search try tuning off Google Now.
