Root How do I fix this?

I am using the Nexus 5 and it still says SAMSUNG Android Phone.

It doesn't matter. So does mine. Works fine. That's the ADB driver and the one listed as Nexus 5 is the MTP driver.

But why is it listed as SAMSUNG? Can I change it?

It may be the universal drivers that get used a lot are Samsung. I don't really care. Everytime I've installed the ADB drivers they come up as Samsung. I suspect you can't change it, but I certainly haven't put any great effort into trying. If it ain't broke, I don't fix it.

I'd just echo what was said before, as long as your computer recognizes its plugged in I'd just ignore it
