you should be able to just press on the link and the browser should take you to the site. what browser are you using?

ok well i just used DDG and i just pressed on a link and it opened another tab and launched the link. is this not happening on your phone?

I still have a problem that some URL links are in drop-down menus and I can't get those menus to open.

Is this just one single link you need to click? You could also bookmark that link so you didn't have to open the menu.
