I just got my first smart phone, and I feel very stupid using it. Here's why: When I go into my contact list, it only shows the 100 contacts I have stored from T-Mobile Contacts Backup.
However, after creating a new message and choosing the option to send, my contact list is full of literally hundreds of email addresses I don't want on my phone.
I un-synced my Gmail account and Facebook account in an attempt to get rid of that information. When that didn't work, I completely removed my Facebook account information altogether, also with no results.
In the display options, I have it set to only display contacts with phone numbers, and to only show contacts using my T-Mobile Contacts Backup. Yet still, all the email addresses remain when trying to send a text message.
Even if I turn off my T-Mobile Contacts Backup and no contacts are displayed under contacts, all of the email addresses are still there when trying to send a simple text message.
I'm using an Exhibit 4G. Any help would be greatly appreciated; many thanks for any advice you can offer.
