Help How do I get DVDs onto my Transformer?

It's a straightforward, but not always easy process. First you must get the DVD in some sort of digital format, usually using a DVD "ripper". Then you must convert it to a format that your tablet can read. I have experimented with a few and ultimately settled on Mobo Player.

I would caution you to check with the publisher about what they allow you to do with that DVD. Some permit you to make a copy, others do not. It's not universal.

I've never used it myself, but there's an app called Handbrake which allows you to convert your DVD's into a format readable by your transformer/any android device.

As Lunatic says though, it would be a good idea to check with the publisher to see if it's allowed.

It's simple......
1. Use WinX DVD Ripper Platinum to convert DVD movie to AVI file.
2. Connect Transformer to PC via USB cable.
3. Open Windows Explorer and copy AVI file to Transformer.
4. Use MX Video Player. (MX Video Player will play mostly any video file such as AVI, WMP, and MKV files.

It's rather easy. I put a 32GB chip in and copy all movies to the chip. I watch movies all day.

The problem I am having is, the Transformer will not stream Xfinity (Cable) On Demand TV. No App for that yet.

Good luck....

I use FoxReal DVD Ripper and I'm very happy with it. Rip the DVD with the program, and copy it to the TF via the included USB cable. It's easy.

DVDFab

DVDFab is another option. It's a great bit of software. I use it a few times a week and I'm yet to meet a DVD it won't copy.

Thanks for the input, folks. I ended up going with DVD Catalyst. Works great for the Transformer, and it was under $10.
