Root how do I get multi touch on this device?

I've not played it, but I will install when I get home and see what happens. What exactly isn't working as it should?
 
I just downloaded a multi touch tester app from the Play Store, and I can confirm multi touch works on this phone and the CM 12.1 rom. Either your phone is having hardware issues or there are bugs in the game. I suggest you download a multi touch tester app, see if it's working, and then post your results here.

I didn't get to this exact scenario, but I was able to switch players (2 finger tap), and use skill moves while running a player (one continuous hold + tap). One thing I did notice is that there is a delay between hitting the button and the move executing. Maybe you are just having a timing issue.
I don't quite understand what you are saying you are trying to do... Do you mean pass while running? This may not be something you can do.
