In the most recent update of my Samsung S3, it added a level of highly annoying "predictive text" and eliminated the extremely useful set of punctuation that used to appear at the top of the page. Can someone help me get the punctuation back? When I turn off predictive text, it also removes the punctuation line. Help! If I'd wanted a Blackberry I would have bought one.

You can modify your keyboard settings in your settings menu under language and input.

Some punctuation tricks for the S3:
Double tap space bar to get a period "."
Press and hold the period key to get a pop up menu of other punctuation

Simply go into Settings > Language & input > Android keyboard settings > Advanced settings > and uncheck "Next word prediction"

Now, instead of seeing predictive text entries at the top of the keyboard, you'll get simple spelling corrections and then punctuation when hitting the space bar between words. Back to normal!
