How do I get Rockplayer

This may sound a stupid question, but where do I get Rockplayer. I thought it was an app but cant find it in Market.

downloaded through link and saved to sd card (wrong?). tried to open using AndExplorer and nails me with "can't open /sdcard/Rock(divx)Player.apktoplay"

You'll need Unknown Sources to be ticked. Settings -> Applications -> Unknown Sources.

This allows non-market applications to be installed.

Of course this thread is ancient so you just download from the market

Alternatively, get it from RockPlayer
Note that the latest version is v1.6.3. The application comes in 4 different versions (just get the Universal version if you don't know which one is right for your phone).
If you have an old version, it may not update automatically. You need to update it manually - remove the old version and install the new one.
