Root How do I get SD card back to full capacity?

My wife brought me home a new class 10 16gb card from work that Office Max delivered by accident, so Im going to use it in my Prevail. My question is, how do I get my old class 4 16gb card back to full capacity? Meaning I have a 2gb partition on it so its only showing 14gb free when erased? I want the whole 16gb back. Thanks in advance

Go to settings. Storage. Unmount SD card and format SD card. It will erase the partitions
