Help how do i go back to gingerbread

very frustrated with ics and all the bugs. is there any way i can go back to gingerbread?
i have the uk galaxy s2 and i am on o2 contract.

Are you rooted? If so, you can install any Gingerbread ROM. If not, you may be able to apply an update.zip of a previous version of GB.

Get in touch with Samsung and ask them for the nearest service centre and whether they'll approve them restoring your GS2 to GB

I did this today (ICS won't allow the phone to connect to my car's hands free). Took about an hour although it'll tak eme ages to get all my apps back

i will give ics another week though as i have heard a strange rumour that it takes a week to come good??
my main problem is the fact that i can't upload to picasa anymore and thats what i use most!

Yup, i had problems with camera and battery. Somehow, it all fixed by time .

got my phone and o2 contract from phones 4u should i contact them first or should i go to o2 or just go straight to samsung?
what number/ email did you contact when you got yours done?

It took my battery a few days to settle, i upgraded directly from gb and i believed upgrade caused the battery to drain. This didn't happen dramatically but wanted to factory reset to confirm i now have no problem and its running brilliantly!
