How Do i Hide Aps

launcher pro plus will allow you to do this, but that requires you to use a different launcher, not sure if that helps you.

i have hide it pro the hide aps only works for 2.2+
I wish that when people post on this site and ask for help that they give as much detail about their handsets as possible... such as:-

Make

Model

Android Firmware version

Rooted/Unrooted (or willing to root)

That way it would save a lot of time and trouble for those trying to help them. :D

intercept
2.1

not willing
That's thre Samsung Intercept (don't forget the maker as some handsets can be rebranded by operators).

Have you tried Launcher Pro Plus, which I use, this allows you to select Menu > Preferences > General Settings > Hidden Apps ("Lets you remove (hide) apps that you don't use from the app drawer")?

ok i will try it. can you give me a rundown of what it is in a nutshell

LauncherPro? Home replacement. Pretty much when you press home and see the home screens, app drawer ect. Adw can be used also by creating custom catalogs in the app drawer and hiding cvatalog navigation tool bar. (uses more memory than launcher pro but had more options, at least adw ex does)

But using either will "hide" the apps just fine unless you got a person who is really interested in what you got and knows there way around android. But little nosy joe schmoe would never find them.

+1 yes that or at least put all that info in their profile so it shows under their name.

Ok can I just say that Hide it Pro app is amazing! It's so cool how much stuff it can do!

I'm just looking for informations about this app!! I'm interested in the hiding text part....how does it work? When i receive a message from a "hidden contact" is there an icon on the status bar or a "bip"? i read somewhere that you pay an extra cost each text you send...is it true? thank you so much for your answer! :o

I use Launcher Pro Free and use it not to hide, but disguise a couple apps. I can change the desktop name and icon to something completely unrelated to the app at hand. Hiding in plain sight, as they say...
