Help How do I ID/buy music?

My 3 year-old Verizon dumbphone had V-cast SongID which worked great.
One would think my brand new state-of-the-art android could do something similar.

Alas, it cant.

Shazam works to ID songs, then gives you an option to look them up on Amazon.com. but you can't install directly to your phone.

I also checked for V-cast SongID under the Verizon tab in app market.

Is there an easy way to ID and download songs onto an android device?
 
Yup, Shazam then after it IDs, you search. I usually choose Amazon MP3 search, takes me to amazon site, then I preview the phone. We did this in Vegas over the weekend by holding the phone up to the open window and picking up the song in the car next to us.
 
I tried to purchase via amazon MP3.. will not load directly to phone.. are there any other option to purchase and load directly to phone?
 
I've been wondering why there isn't an app to purchase music as well, seems very odd. I DL'd Mp3 Music, and you can DL songs, but I don't have an app to purchase music. I can't seem to find "imusic" either.

i think imusic is now called music tao. they keep changing the program name because a) google is removing the app b/c its against their TOS or b) they are scamming people who've paid for it under one name, then hope to get them to pay again under the new name. thats the rumor i've heard at least.
 
OK... so i downloaded/installed the amazon MP3.apk, search and preview seem to work fine but when i press BUY it doesn't do anything. I put in my associated email address in settings, but it still won't download the song.

Anyone else have any luck with this or any other music download app?
