how do I keep the stock Android Calendar app synced?

So I've noticed a few times where I create an event on Google Calendar through the web interface and it never appears in the Android view, and also vice-versa. I just looked under Accounts & sync expecting to find some "Refresh every X minutes" interval, and found only "Background sync", which is on. The Android Gmail app has a Refresh option, which would be REALLY nice in Calendar. Does anyone know that I should do something else to get Calendar to sync better, or should I submit "Add a refresh button" as an Android Calendar feature suggestion?
Thanks much,
Jeff

Have you tried going into the settings within the calendar app. to see if its set to sink? Open calendar app. menu> settings> manage calendars and make sure that both the sync and eye button is enabled for all calendars.

If you go into calender then menu then click on calenders button and watch the top bar you will notice it will sync and refreshes.:)

And if your in the accounts & sync settings click on your email account then click the menu button then click sync now button.

That was exactly what I'd been looking for, thanks. Turned out it was already set to sync, so either my mind had been playing tricks on me or I'd been bumping up against sync timing issues... (not the first time for that)

Oh, and in case someone else has this issue and finds this thread later, on my device it was found under Calendar app-->menu-->more-->Calendars, not in Settings.
