Root How do I lock Google Voice in memory

Jeffery

Android Enthusiast
I'm using Liquid Gingerbread 1.7 and I can't figure out how to lock Google Voice in memory. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you need to? GV runs as a service. I don't have it locked into memory and I receive all of my texts immediately (I use GV exclusively for texting). Voicemails also come in right on time.

I'm not sure, but isn't LGB one of those Roms that has all that 'extra' stuff to be able to lock custom apps in memory? Found in menu -> settings -> Liquid Settings (or something like that) -> performance.

good luck

It says "Keep current messaging in memory", under performamce. I will try that.

I just had trouble with not getting messages, but I think it may have been after reboots when I hadn't used Google Voice yet.
