Root How do I make this phone read/write?

First you have to root it and then you have to download a root file explorer like root explorer that lets you change the access.

I have not succeeded at rooting the phone. I need a simple one click type thing . ( superoneclick hasnt worked ).
Ive been scouring these and other forums for dayyssss.. lol
There seems to be gobs of different info and ideas but none has worked for me.

kernal ver 2.6.35.7
build number : gingerbread.ff18
hardware ver r720.06

I tried something called gingerbreak and I dont have the name of the second one because I deleted it.
I have Awo_AROMA ...(thats the beginning of the file name I downloaded...) Anyway, this is working. Its not a whole lot different but its better than it was.=)

Gingerbreak and z4root don't work on the 2.3.6 Samsung Admire, I don't believe they work on 2.3.4 either.

Yeah the only root methods that work for the admire are the superoneclick method and the 2.3.6 root method provided by playfulgod. I think that file is android world order. That rom is more of a stock rooted admire with some tweaks and animations and other changes.
