How do I move pics to SD card??

I saw the threads that said that the pics should automatically be going on the SD card but that is def not happening for me. I have a massive card with nothing on it. Everything is stored on the phone and is slowing me way down. I've already dumped all unnecessary apps, stopped everything running in the backgrounds, turned off animations. Still super sticky and slow. I am in such hate with this phone right now. Any new info out there on how to move your gallery to your SD card? I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

Every picture I've taken with the Transform stock camera has gone to the SD card - use a file manager like the stock file manager provided with the 2.2 Froyo update (My Files) or an app like Astro or ES File Explorer, click on the "DCIM" folder (click on sdcard/DCIM for Astro or ES File Explorer) and verify that the images are in one of the sub folders (e.g. Camera). If you use a camera app like Retro Camera, it should be in the "retroCamera" folder on the SD card. The ".Thumbnail folder" is visible with an app like Astro. I do not remember setting Retro Camera pictures to be saved to the SD card so I assume it was defaulted there. I also have used HDR Camera and for that app I did change the setting of where to save the images to (Save to ...) to the SD or memory card instead of the Phone. The HDR folder will be in the DCIM folder when saving the image to the SD card.
