Help How do I permanently remove an app from the Google backup?

Here's the deal, I really like the fact that Google auto-backups all my settings (wireless and what have you), and apps... but there are some apps that I would like removed from that list so they don't restore when I wipe all the data. Is there anywhere to manage that list, or any way to remove the apps in a more permanent way.

Anyone who understands this a bit better, please help! It's super frustrating.

Thanks,
James

Uncheck the backup settings box under "privacy."

Uninstall the app.

Recheck it.

Normally the uncheck/recheck isn't necessary, but if you find that for some reason google is still storing something, that should clear it out.
