How Do I Play Music NOT Via Google Player??

I don't want to use my airtime playing it. I am coming out of a LG G2 and on that phone I was able to play via a purple little icon that did not use any airtime and I could play music that I had actually loaded on my phone.

How do I do that on this Droid Turbo? I have music loaded onto the phone, but I don't want to use airtime to play it. How can I play it?????????? I don't want to use the Google Music Icon (or whatever it is).

In Google play music, if you tap the menu icon top left it opens the sidebar, and one of the settings you'll see right there is a toggle for "downloaded only". That will play only music you have downloaded to your phone.
